Gov. Bonham Chief Justice Refers to his

Despatch No13 April 22.

Does not concur with the Chief Justice, in regard to The Vacations, represents the inconvenience arising from the present arrangements of the Sessions, of the different Courts which admits of a period of four Months, during which the whole of the Courts are closed, Prisoners are confined for that time, and afterwards acquitted in consequence Witnesses quitting the Colony, the ends of justice being defeated.
